Gembu, Taraba State — A new dynamic has entered the race for the House of Representatives seat of Gashaka, Kurmi, and Sardauna Federal Constituency as the youngest aspirant, Usman Abubakar Bobboi Jauro (Madamin Mambilla), formally picked his nomination form under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Jauro, a youth-driven advocate for development and inclusive growth, said his decision to contest is rooted in a lifelong commitment to service and a desire to unlock greater opportunities for the people of the constituency.
“This is not about power. It is about service to our people and progress for our land,” he stated, emphasizing that leadership must translate into tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.
Positioning himself as a bridge between experience and youthful energy, Jauro noted that his aspiration is not a “do-or-die” pursuit, but a continuation of his ongoing efforts to uplift communities across Gashaka, Kurmi, and Sardauna.
“With or without office, I remain committed to creating opportunities, opening doors, and working for the prosperity of our constituency. But with the people’s mandate, we can move faster, reach farther, and achieve more together,” he added.
Political observers say Jauro’s emergence reflects a growing appetite among constituents for a new generation of leadership that is both accessible and forward-looking. His campaign is expected to focus on youth empowerment, infrastructure development, economic expansion, and stronger representation at the national level.
As the APC primaries approach, Jauro has called on party faithful and constituents to actively participate in the democratic process, urging them to support a vision anchored on unity, development, and shared prosperity.
