Zainab’s Nomination Gives Women, Youths Stronger Voice in Taraba Politics — Jauro

An APC chieftain and political leader of the Madamin Mambilla political family, Alhaji Usman Abubakar Bobboi Jauro, has described the nomination of Hajiya Zainab A. Ibrahim as deputy governorship candidate of the party as a significant boost for women and youths in Taraba politics.

Jauro, in a statement on Saturday, commended Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas for what he called his commitment to inclusive political participation and empowerment.

He said the decision to pair Kefas with Zainab Ibrahim for the 2027 governorship election demonstrated recognition of the important role women and young people play in the political and socio-economic development of Taraba State.

According to him, “This decision reflects a deep commitment to empowerment, equity, and the recognition of the immense contributions of women and young people to the growth and progress of our state.”

Jauro congratulated Ibrahim on her emergence, describing the nomination as a testament to her dedication, integrity, competence and years of service to the people of Taraba.

He expressed optimism that her experience and commitment would strengthen the vision of inclusive governance and sustainable development being pursued in the state.

The APC leader also pledged his political support for the Kefas/Zainab ticket, saying the Madamin Mambilla political family would work to mobilise its supporters across Taraba State ahead of the 2027 election.

He urged party members and supporters to remain united and committed to the ideals of good governance, peace, development and prosperity.
