The National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS) has honoured Alhaji Usman A. Jauro, the MD/CEO of Cynox IT Limited, with the Sir Ahmadu Bello Sarduna Distinguished Merit Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth development, innovation, and national growth.
The award presentation, which took place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Jauro’s Abuja office, celebrated his exceptional consistency and excellence in private enterprise.
Speaking during the presentation, Abdulrahman Ibrahim, the Senate President of NANNS, described Jauro as a rare example of discipline and resilience in today’s fast-changing business environment. He noted that many young people struggle with consistency, making Jauro’s journey a model worth emulating.
“This award is an appreciation of his level of consistency in private business and recognition of his excellent performance. Young people of today lack consistency, and as such, Jauro is a shining example other youths can look up to in career development,” Ibrahim said.
In his response, Usman Bobboi Jauro expressed gratitude to the association for the honour, emphasizing that he remains committed to growth and impact.
“I am still on a journey. I don’t consider myself all accomplished yet,” he said.
He urged young Nigerians to prioritize skill acquisition, discipline, and value creation, stressing that success is impossible without vision and long-term dedication.
“Having vision is key to consistency, and consistency is a recipe for long-term growth and sustainability. Youths must focus on acquiring skills and making positive impacts in society,” he added.
The award underscores NANNS’ mission to celebrate individuals contributing to national development, educational upliftment, youth empowerment, and service to humanity.
With this recognition, Jauro joins a select group of northern achievers honoured for embodying excellence, integrity, and progressive leadership.
