Oma Life Rescue Foundation has announced that its annual Food and Clothes Fiesta 2025 will be held in Chibiri Village, Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The announcement was made by the Founder and CEO of the foundation, Dr. Omanibe Ameh-Sanusi, during a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Chief of Chibiri, His Royal Highness Ishaku Sakokwai, on Friday.
Dr. Ameh-Sanusi said the foundation chose Chibiri for this year’s outreach as part of its commitment to reaching underserved communities during the festive season. She appealed to well-meaning Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora, to support the initiative and help “put smiles on people’s faces” as the year draws to an end.
“We cannot do it alone,” she said. “This season is a time for compassion, sharing and lifting one another. We call on individuals, groups and organisations to join hands with us to make this year’s Food and Clothes Fiesta a memorable blessing for families in Chibiri.”
Also present during the visit was the Director of Program and Strategist of the foundation, Shuaibu Ishaq Onakpa, who confirmed that preparations are already in top gear. He noted that all plans, logistics and coordination have been properly arranged to ensure a smooth and successful execution of the 2025 edition.
“We have put everything in place to guarantee a well-organised event that truly serves the people,” he said.
The Food and Clothes Fiesta is one of the foundation’s flagship humanitarian programs, aimed at providing essential food items, clothing and relief materials to vulnerable households during the festive period.
