Mr. Aliko Dangote, speaking shortly after signing the agreement, highlighted a range of major investments spanning cement production, power generation, petroleum pipelines, oil refining, and fertilizer manufacturing. He noted that the total investment would exceed one billion dollars, driven largely by the pipeline project. Dangote commended President Mnangagwa’s ongoing reforms and commitment to transparency, adding that these efforts have restored investor confidence and demonstrated that the President has “passed the exam” in his quest to turn the economy around.
