Gembu, the headquarters of Sardauna Local Government Area in Taraba State, came alive with renewed optimism as philanthropist and development advocate Usman Bobboi Jauro commissioned solar-powered street lights and made a major financial donation to support Mambilla youths ahead of their end-of-year activities.
The solar street lights, installed at key points across the town, have significantly improved night-time visibility and enhanced public safety. Residents say the intervention has already begun to positively affect commercial activities and social life in the area.
Speaking on the youth support, Abdulmumini, a youth leader on the Mambilla Plateau, praised Jauro’s commitment to youth development.
