Mozambique President, Daniel Francisco Chapo, has announced a special cash reward of about ₦11.3 million for each player and member of the coaching staff if the national team, the Mambas, defeat Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The incentive comes after Mozambique qualified for the Round of 16 for the first time, finishing third in Group F despite a 2–1 loss to Cameroon.
