Shuaibu Ishaq Onakpa has described Hon. David Idris Zacharias, the member representing Idah Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, as “the true saviour of the people,” following his recent medical interventions across the constituency.
Hon. Zacharias had, on December 27, 2025, donated vital medical equipment to several health facilities within Idah Federal Constituency, a move aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and improving access to quality medical services for residents.
Addressing journalists in Abuja on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Onakpa said the lawmaker’s actions clearly distinguish him as a leader driven by genuine concern for the welfare of his constituents.
According to him, the medical donations go beyond routine constituency projects, reflecting a deep understanding of grassroots needs and a commitment to saving lives.
“Hon. David Idris Zacharias has proven himself as a true saviour of the people,” Onakpa said. “At a time when many leaders are disconnected from the realities on ground, he continues to invest in interventions that directly touch lives, especially in critical sectors like healthcare.”
Onakpa further noted that Zacharias has remained consistent in his approach to governance, describing him as a firm believer in developmental politics rather than empty rhetoric.
“He is a leader who deserves continuity in office. His consistency, vision, and dedication to service are qualities that set him apart and make him worthy of more terms at the National Assembly,” he added.
